What is Olares?

Olares is an open-source personal cloud OS you operate in plain language, built to run AI agents and LLMs on hardware you own.

Use this documentation to install and activate Olares, manage apps, files, identity, and access, and extend your setup with the CLI, Agent Skills, and real-world workflows.

Olares OS, LarePass, and Olares Space

Olares OS runs on your device and hosts your apps, files, and AI services. LarePass is the client you use to create and protect your Olares ID, activate Olares, and access it securely from your devices. Olares Space is the web service for managing your Olares devices and optional cloud-assisted features such as custom domains, backup storage, and billing.
