Bonjour. Hallo. Ciao. Hola. こんにちは.
With Olares 1.12.7, more people can use Olares and LarePass in a language that feels familiar. The release adds five system languages and introduces a new way to translate web pages with an AI model running on your own hardware.
One makes Olares easier to use. The other brings more of the web within reach.
More languages across Olares and LarePass
Olares 1.12.7 adds French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese to the system UI, alongside English and Chinese.
From initial setup to Settings and everyday use, more of the Olares experience is now available in your preferred language.
Note: Language support is rolling out app by app, so not every app will support every language immediately. Newer Olares apps such as Lares, Router, and Ticket currently launch in English and Simplified Chinese, with more languages coming in future updates.
Translate the web with your own model
Language support does not stop at the system interface.
Olares can now run translation models such as Hy-MT2-1.8B, available from Olares Market. Together with the LarePass browser extension, these models let you translate web pages as you browse.
Page content is processed by the model running on your own Olares rather than being sent to an external cloud translation service. This lets you translate the web while keeping the content on infrastructure you control.
What language should we add next?
We’ll continue expanding language support across the Olares system.
If your language isn’t included yet, let us know in the Feature Request channel. If you find a translation that feels inaccurate or unnatural, share it in Feedback .
Native speakers make the difference. Your suggestions will help every language feel more natural in Olares.
