Olares 1.12.5 is now available. This release adds official support for NVIDIA DGX Spark, brings more consistent GPU handling across all GPU modes, refines common workflows in Settings and Desktop, and improves setup and connection reliability. A big thank you to everyone in the community who shared feedback and reported issues. Many of the improvements in this release came directly from your input.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NVIDIA DGX Spark support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Olares can now be installed on NVIDIA DGX Spark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DGX Spark is designed for AI workloads that require large amounts of unified memory, making it a practical choice for running AI models locally at scale. Once Olares is installed, you can deploy supported AI apps from the Olares Market with a single click.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1.12.5, we have added a dedicated page in Settings to recognize early Kickstarter supporters. It is a small gesture, but one we wanted to make inside the product itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GPU management across all modes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Several GPU-related issues that users have reported are addressed in this release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A common problem was GPU configuration being lost after an app update. Olares now preserves your GPU settings through upgrades, so your configuration stays in place when you update an app. Related to this, apps that use GPU resources are now stopped and cleaned up more reliably when they are closed or updated, which prevents them from holding onto resources that other apps need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Automatic GPU scheduling has also been extended to all three GPU modes. Previously, it only worked in Time slicing mode. In Memory slicing and App exclusive mode, you had to assign GPU resources manually before an app could start. Now Olares handles this across all modes, so apps start and resume more consistently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GPU information in Settings and app details has also been updated to be clearer and more accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
